Guidelines for Reviews

Reviews of Vendors

• If you have had a problem with a vendor, please try to sort it out with them first. Vendors will usually go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with their product. And if you if you are still not happy will often offer an exchange or refund.
• If you have a complaint, be specific.
• Comments should be honest but constructive. Inflammatory remarks will be removed.
• A vendor may wish to respond to a negative review. If a misunderstanding has occurred and you wish to alter a review you have posted, you may edit your review.
• Some ideas for your review:

• before sales service
• availability of advertised products
• after sales service
• speed of shipping (but bear in mind that postal service delivery standards are outside a vendor’s control)
• were the vendor's claims delivered?

• Please post your comments on particular products in the Product Reviews.

Reviews of Products

• If you have had a problem with a product, please try to sort it out with the vendor first. Often extra instructions can help, and vendors will often exchange or refund if you are not happy with your purchase, if their policies allow.
• Comments should be honest but constructive. Flaming is not allowed.
• Comparisons with similar products are particularly useful.
• Mention if you have had extensive experience or limited experience with the item as well as the age and size of the baby or toddler you carried.
• If you have particular physical characteristics that may affect your review, please mention this eg. lower back problems, petite or large size, etc.
• Some ideas for your review :

• unique/unusual aspects of the carrier
• the quality of the product
• quality of instructions
• comfort, fit, adjustability
• ease of getting baby in and out
• learning curve
• applications the carrier is best suited to/not suited to
• are the manufacturer's claims borne out
• age/size of your baby; would the carrier suit other ages/sizes?
• best/worst features

Reviews by Vendors

• You may not review your own business.
• If you have intellectual property rights over a product (you designed or developed or manufacture or have it manufactured), then you may not review it.
• You may review other products that you sell so long as you start each review with the text:

This review is by a vendor of this product.

• You may review a product that you neither own nor sell, or another vendor providing you:

• have actually used the product or dealt with the vendor as a customer,
• offer a fair and honest review, and
• don't compare their product or business specifically to your own.

Other Vendor Guidelines

• Vendors may not offer discounts or any other monetary incentives in exchange for customers posting reviews.
